A supernova is an explosion of a stars core causing the death of the star. The explosion is caused when carbon explodes and destroys the star and creates a black hole. There are two types of supernova. The first evolves way more faster than the second one . This causes the first one to have more mass in a shorter amount of time. The first nova starts to loose its material and a white dwarf creates a gaseuos layer on it. The carbon from the white dwarf detonates causing the white dwarf to explode. There is only a few seconds befor the whole white dwarf is gone. This nova takes a long amount of time to die down. The second nova is cause by the collapse of a massive star. causeing emmense density with exstreamly hot temperatures. They also can create massive shockwaves that can cause the creation of black holes or destroy near objects. This nova can take a long time to die down as well, depending on the amount of mass it has. STAR LIFE CYCLE
THE STARS LIFE The star life cycle is a very interesting cycle because there is not just one cycle. There are two main cycles . These cycles are the average size star cycle, the , and the massive star cycle. They are labeld on the picture shown below. The average star starts as a stellar nebula then it forms to an average star .After this stage it forms into a red giant. Then once a red giant it turns into a planetary nebula with layerys of clouds and dust. Then the star forms into a white dwarf and that is the life of an average size star. Then comes the massive star's life cycle it begins the same way a average star would, as a stellar nebula. Then it becomes a massive star which is heat and light ejected into the star. Then once a massive star it turns into a red supergiant this is when the heat swells up. Then comes the supernova explosion when the core caves in and the star dies. After this happens the satr is dead and will either turn into a neutron star or most likley a black hole.
1) A massive star weighs eight times more than the sun
2) Supernovas temp can reach 250,00 degrees celcius
3) Supernovas can create black holes
4) Supernovas can destroy satrs in seconds
5) They destroy cores of stars
6) Can destroy stars in seconds
7) There are different types of novas
8) Has an emmence density
9) The stars core collases and creates a supernova
10) Can create a white dwarf with gaseus layers
